Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (browser local storage) are used on the Badi ("Badi", "we") website (getbadi.com), in the admin and company panels and in the browser-based chat app (getbadi.com/chat), and for what purposes.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved to your device via your browser when you visit a website. Your browser's local storage (localStorage) can be used for the same purposes; this policy covers both.

2. Strictly Necessary (Technical) Cookies

These cookies are required for the service to work and cannot be turned off:

• Session cookie: Used to securely maintain your session when you sign in to the admin/company panel. The panel cannot be accessed without this cookie.
• Language cookie (badi_locale): Used to remember your interface language choice (Turkish/English); kept for up to 1 year.
• Chat session key: The chat app (/chat) keeps an anonymous session key in browser storage to recognise your device and continue your chats on it. The key contains no name, phone number or other identifying information.

3. Analytics Cookies and Measurement Tools

We use the tools below to understand how the website, the panels and the chat app are used, to detect errors and to improve the product. These cookies are not required to deliver the service; you can turn them off at any time using the control in section 4.

PostHog

• Provider: PostHog Inc. Data is hosted in PostHog's European Union cloud (Frankfurt, Germany).
• Cookies and storage: cookies and browser storage entries starting with ph_; kept for up to 1 year.
• Data collected: a randomly generated visitor identifier, pages viewed, buttons and links clicked, form submission events (not what you type into forms), page performance metrics, errors that occur in the browser, browser and device type, your IP address and the approximate location (country/city) derived from it.
• Session recording: On the website and in the panels, screen interactions (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and the page structure) may be recorded. Anything typed into form fields and all chat messages are masked in recordings. No session recording takes place in the chat app used by workers (/chat). Recordings are kept for a limited period (30 days by default).
• Panel users: Once you sign in to the panel, analytics events are linked to your account (email, name, role and company) so we can understand how your company uses the panel.
• Chat users (workers): Events are linked only to an anonymous visitor identifier; no name, phone number or message content is collected for analytics. The company the device is connected to is attached to events so usage can be measured per company.
• Server-side events: Some usage events, such as sign-in, sign-up and document uploads, are sent from our servers rather than the browser and are linked to the same visitor identifier.

Google Analytics

• Provider: Google LLC. Data may be transferred to Google's servers, including in the United States.
• Cookies: _ga and _ga_*; kept for up to 2 years.
• Data collected: visitor counts, pages viewed, traffic sources, browser and device information. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.

These tools are used only for statistics and product improvement. We do not use advertising or marketing tracking cookies, and your data is never sold or rented to third parties.

4. Your Cookie Preferences

Your preference is stored in your browser and applies to this browser on this device. When analytics cookies are off, the website, the panels and the chat app keep working exactly as before. If you clear your browser's cookies or site data, you will need to set your preference again.

You can also delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some areas such as panel sign-in may not work as expected.

This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and the "Last updated" date is refreshed.
